Kim Family Christmas & New Year's Celebration

I have a large Korean family, and it only gets bigger as one of the 17 first cousins of mine gets married (cousins not present here are in Korea, Switzerland, and Chicago). So, when Christmas comes around, we can't help but have a big affair.



This year my aunt Nancy coordinated our annual Christmas and New Year's celebration and Yoot tournament, which brought tons of laughs and competitive spirits out! Yoot is a traditional and popular Korean game where you throw four sticks into the air that are rounded on one side and flat on the other, and then move a game piece around a board according to the way it falls. It's a lot of fun!
