100% Design - 100% Sustainable?

Happening at Earls Court in London: "100% Sustainable? is a central feature at 100% Design, offering visitors a creative space in which to engage with the sustainable design debate. A fusion of exhibition, recreation and interaction, the space will provide opportunities for visitors to participate in live debate and creative activities to help create knowledge that informs commercial practice."

Kinecta Museum in London's Eco Event

On April 1st Kinetica will host a special eco event, an indoor pleasure garden where fashion meets technology and art. Featuring eclectic sounds, ethical fashion and multimedia art, this eco-friendly and awareness-raising all day party will focus on carbon neutral alternatives and sustainability. Amidst the photography, innovative eco technology, fairtrade bar, hemp clothing, and video installations there will be a team of carbon friendly paramedics on hand to offer eco advice and provide carbon healthchecks. The event will feature music from MashUp Twins, Honey Weasel, Nom de Plume, Charlie Winston, Hybr33d and more.

Kinetica is the UK's first museum of kinetic art that recently opened October 2006. It will actively encourage the convergence of art and technology, providing an exhibition space in central London where the most important examples of kinetic, technological and electronic art, both past and present, can be properly stored and displayed.
