Logo Trends 2007

I just read this article from an online corporate design company - I'm not really familiar with Logo Orange, except I have been to their site maybe once or twice before today. But, anyways, as an online corporate identity building group that sells their logo designs for $350 (cough), they announce their predictions, and guess what?

Clouds, as a design function of a logo, is the #2 trend. "Clouds are a powerful logo, conjuring imagery of dreams, creativity and playfulness."

So now you know one-half of the "pink cloud" meaning. Who can guess the reason for pink?
