LACE's TASTE Event Re-cap

The event last Saturday was great - there were about 500 people that showed to support LACE's 28th annual benefit art auction. Soon-to-be-celebrity chefs Jonny and Vinny, the "Food Dudes", showed up with a Food TV crew to spice up the night alongside AMMO catering and Elizabeth and Gloria of the soon-to-be-opened restaurant Resevoir in Silverlake. The final numbers for the amount raised are yet to be announced, but with a single piece from Barbara Kruger going for 3x it's retail value at $15,500, I'm pretty sure the event will be considered a success. Marvimon Productions and Pink Cloud Events worked alongside the LACE staff to ensure that the environment was kept into consideration by incorporating a reduce-reuse-recycle policy whenever possible.
